New Release – Times of Tribulation – Book 7

Times of Tribulation, the seventh and final novel of The End Times Saga is now available to on Kindle, Apple iBooks, Kobo, and Smashwords. The paperback will be available in a week or so. I want to thank readers for sticking with me through the last two and a half years as I wrote this series. The next thing I have planned is a box set for all seven novels, which will include a timeline and the list of characters, and that will probably come out before the end of November. Times of Tribulation follows the entire seven year period as various characters survive the seven trumpet and seven bowl judgments. In … Continue reading

Times of Turmoil released to Nook, Kobo, Apple, and Smashwords

Times of Turmoil is now also available to buy on ‪Nook, Kobo,  iTunes, my own webstore, ‬and ‪Smashwords ‬. When I published it in April, I put it into Amazon's KDP Select so I could get some momentum going with it. I might've stayed in it, if I had more borrows, but I had 12 for it, and I managed to get 2286 downloads from the 5 free days. The other novel I have in Select, Beyond the New Frontier, has done worse, having half of the downloads that Times of Turmoil has since October of last year, probably because people aren't all that into mixing genres like alternate history, … Continue reading

Novel Sales For the Year So Far

Now that June is over with and it's half-way through the year, I'd like to share my sales stats for the year so far. I post this twice a year, and most of the promotion I do is through Facebook or Twitter (since I have a very small budget). Since the beginning of the year though, I've joined up with other Christian indie authors at sites like Crossreads to promote our books through Twitter, Blog Hops, and $.99 cent sales, and I think it helps tremendously. If I had a lot of disposable income, it would be interesting to see how well I'd do if I could afford Bookbub, Kindle … Continue reading

Novel sales stats for 2012

First off, Happy New Year 2013 to everyone and a big thank you to all those out there who bought/downloaded a copy of one of my novels. I thought I’d blog again this year about how many sales/free downloads my novels had this year. My marketing/promoting consisted mostly of using Twitter, Facebook groups/pages, joining up with a couple Christian author groups to Tweet, and going to message boards. I did some giveaways for ebooks, like on Librarything, and sent some personal acquaintances/relatives paperback copies of Times of Trouble (which actually did help some with visibility), along with a little more than a handful of review copies to a couple of … Continue reading

#SampleSunday – Final Frontier, alternate history

For Sample Sunday, here is a part of Chapter 7 of Final Frontier. A couple of hours went by before anything started happening. As McMurphy and Elders were hiding behind some boxes on the floor where Lee Harvey Oswald was supposed to have shot Kennedy from, both men heard a door open, with two men walking through. The man who came in first was definitely Oswald, and the second man behind him was shoving a pistol in Oswald’s back, and was carrying something large that was shaped like a rifle of some sort. Oswald was saying, “Why me?” “As I keep saying, we need someone who we can blame the … Continue reading

#99cent sale for my #ebooks on Amazon, B&N, and Kobo

For the rest of November, five of my ebooks will be $.99 on Amazon, B&N, and Kobo (which includes WH Smith and Angus & Robertson). Amazon updates either instantly or takes all day, UK Nook will update later, and Kobo’s new prices will be reflected tomorrow. All but Final Frontier is available in paperback. Here’s the ones on sale: Out of Time, my time travel novel, is currently $.99 anyway, but I’m thinking of raising the price to $2.99 at the end of the year, which includes Apple & Sony. Currently is rated 4 stars with 8 reviews on Amazon. In the 2150’s, a scientist discovers time is actually fluid; … Continue reading

Sales for the year so far

Now that it’s June, here are my sales numbers for the year so far, from regular sales to when one of my novels was in KDP Select to free giveaways. Amazon US Kindle Out of Time – 34 Don’t Mess With Earth – 13 The Usurper  – (regular sales) – 67 KDP Select numbers for The Usurper – 329 Shattered Earth (which I unpublished on Amazon) – 8 Voyager & The Aliens – 3 Dust Storm – 4 New Frontier – … Continue reading

December sales numbers

I did this last month, so I figured I would do it again this month for December. This is for Smashwords itself, Nook, Kindle, and a couple of paperbacks. This is all without much in the way of paying for ads, or being on blog tours, just mostly from word of mouth across Facebook, Amazon, the Kindleboards, Nookboards, Mobilereads, and probably all the mentions I overdid with Twitter, and the occasional sponsorship such as Frugal eReader or Two Ends of the Pen, or interview on some blogs. I did pay for the Kindle Nation Daily sponsorship, and even though it was just yesterday, I did sell 50 on Kindle in … Continue reading
